Christmas brings with it joy and good cheer. Group activities are a major hit during the festive season. The piece follows the beautiful maiden Odette and the young prince Siegfried, their chance encounter and narrates the events of their fateful lives. The beautiful stage setting perfectly imitates the cold winters and screams of a white Christmas.

The Snowman
A fairly recent dance piece, when compared to the last two, The Snowman is a magical tale that follows a young boy and his more-than-alive snowman on their journey to meet the Father of Christmas, Santa Claus. The Snowman is an adaptation of Raymond Briggs’ popular novel of the same name. With lyrics penned by Howard Blake and spectacular choreography by Robert North, the ballet manages to enthrall the young and remind the old of the simple joys of childhood.



The Little Match Girl
A ballet version of Hans Christian Anderson's story of the same name, The Little Match Girl is about a young desolate girl who is at the mercy of a single matchstick and the kindness of people to protect her from the crisp winter air. She endures the cruelty of the winter as well as mankind. The ballet raises a mirror to our behavior and speaks of the generous spirit of Christmas.
